The following information on this page consists of answers to all if not most questions that you may have relating to the functionality of the Food Safety Supervisor Online Course.

Question: How many quiz attempts am I allowed?

Answer: You are allowed 3 attempts for each of the quizzes. If you have used all 3 attempts but have not yet successfully completed a quiz, please refer to the terms and conditions for information on what your options are.

Question: What score do I need to pass the course?

Answer: You are required to answer all quizzes correctly pass this course.

Question: Is this Food Safety Supervisor Course recognised across Australia?

Answer: The unit of competency attained on successful completion of this course is Apply Retail Food Safety Practices (SIRRFSA001A). 

Question: How long does it take to complete the course?

Answer: You will have 12 months to complete this course successfully. (refer to our terms and conditions to find out what options are available to you if you fail to do this course within 12 months). This course will normally be completed in 6 to 8 hours. Because this is an online course, the length of time may vary depending on your skill level, your previous experience and your level of computer literacy. Their is however a component of this course which requires you to complete a 'Supervisor Report'. This needs to occur in a real life 'retail or hospitality food  environment' and needs to also occur over a minimum period of 2 weeks.

Question: How do I log into the course

Answer: Once you have registered by completing our online enrolment form, you will be taken to our payment section. You have several payment options. Once payment is confirmed, you will be taken to our elearning section to create a username, password and a short profile. Access is then provided by simply clicking on the Food Safety Supervisor Course link to start your course. Please refer to our Online Instructional Video for a visual on how this occurs. 

Question: I am an existing user. How do I re-log onto the course again. 

Answer: Go to our website's home page and click on the Student Login link at the top right hand corner. Simply enter your user name and password and return to your course. Or, Click on this link to log on now.

Question: I've forgotten my password, how do I reset it?

Answer: If you've forgotten your password you can click the 'Help me log in' button on the course log in page. You will need to provide either your username or email address and a new password will be emailed to you.

Question: Can I save my progress or do I need to complete the course in one session?

Answer: You can save your progress at anytime during the course, you do not need to complete it in one session. The course is broken up into a series of modules, each covering a seperate topic with each module consisting of Learning Materials and a Quiz. You may view the Learning Materials at your own pace and as many times as you wish. If you leave during the course at any time, you have the option of resuming where you left off. You may also save the questions you have completed for each without submitting them if you wish to complete the quiz at a later time. Remember, you have up to 12 months to complete your course.
