NSW Strategic Skills Program
Just Careers Training, in partnership with the NSW Government, is delivering training under The Strategic Skills Program 2011-2012. Unlike the 2009-2010 program, the 2011-2012 Strategic Skills Program is now a combination of Strategic Skills Program and the Productivity Places Program for Existing Workers and Job Seekers.
Job Seekers
Training funded through the program is for part-qualifications or skills clusters to support Job Seekers employment opportunities.
Job Seekers are able to undertake a FREE* Nationally Recognised Certificate IV in Frontline Management (Full Qualification) or a Nationally Recognised part-qualification or skills cluster in the following:
- Transport and Warehousing Skills Course (with forklift license**)
- Business Skills Course (with FREE First Aid Certificate**)
- Community Pharmacy Skills Course
- Retail Skills Course (with FREE Food Safety Supervisor Certificate)
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management (with FREE First Aid Certificate**)
*Eligibility criteria applies
**forkilft license is a rebate system and is conducted through an external provider. First Aid Certificate is conducted through an external provider.
Existing Workers
Training funded through the program is to support the up-skilling needs of industry and the Existing workforce.
Existing workers will be able to access part qualifications, skills clusters or full qualifications. Speak to our consultants for information about existing worker courses and their eligibilty.
